In Week 6 of Term 1 our class focussed on how to write great explanations. We wrote about how to survive your first night in Minecraft (the game a lot of us are obsessed with!).

Mine craft is a game that is popular around the world I’m going to tell you how to survive your first night in Mine craft.
First thing you need to do is gather wood so you need it for making sticks and planks. Also build a craft table making tools is a bit hard because doing things by hand but it takes a long time.
Next you find somewhere to build a shelter with a door and a roof. Also find a good view and lots of resources nearby for mining later.
Step number 3: Is to build a shelter with a wind a door and a roof make a bed so that it can make dawn come sooner also remember to have a light. WARNING! (The most colossal scariest and angriest also spooky zombies spawn at night in the dark). You can build it in the tree but make sure it is the highest tree in the jungle otherwise you can dig into a side of a mountain.
As soon as, collect resources like food cows pigs mine cobblestone to build a furnace later. Mine sand is something that will be smelting glass later.
